This should be a really fun night. First, we get to watch the sun slowly sink into Oneida Lake, while we’ll be playing some new songs and some old favorites. Then we get to dance the night away. My pal, Letizia will be stunning the crowd with her killer vocals. It’s actually our first real gig as a band. Funny, we’ve all played together and known each other forever, but this particular configuration has never played an actual gig. We are all looking forward to it.

I’ve been incredibly busy (yeah, I know, what else is new?) - But, I am finally, starting Monday, turning my focus to writing the new album. Our next band rehearsals and sessions will be focused on that task.

I’m also turning my attention to finishing up the last pages of “The Lion That Meowed” for Richard Faith. Our publisher has been pushing us to finish up the Spanish translation of “Bee Scared.” It’s the part of illustrating that I don’t care for. The business of formatting a completed book for printing and publication. The Kindle book was a little tricky, but I got it done. Anyway, Monday I can get back to the real art - writing songs and painting/drawing.

Time to roll. We load out in a few short hours for the beach. The band and crew are ready to Rock.
