I’m writing this from the road. A road I am getting a little tired of. We’re in North Carolina, but headed northward to the land of Oz. To the great 315! CNY is right there in the middle of the Empire State. For those of us who have spent much time in NYC, the land to the North of Yonkers is just plain old “Upstate.” I’m fine with that designation.

We hit the road the morning after our concert at Sharkey’s Event Center. We didn’t have time to revel in the glory of the gig. It was great to play a show so close to home. We’re lucky to have this incredible venue featuring S&K Sound and Lighting. Paulie Scire and his team are the best in the business. The photos and videos that we’ve seen are stunning. As soon as we get permissions, I will share some here on the website.

Next up for the band is our annual visit to Le Moyne’s Founder’s Day celebration on October 17th. It’s always fun to play with the students. This year, they are moving to the Downtown Marriott.

The big news this week is that our documentary, The Artist and the Astronaut, began streaming worldwide. Check the story on this website. The direct link to stream is:

While on the road, I have been working on a couple of projects for Richard Faith. His Old Doc Turtle books, which I illustrate, are being translated into 14 languages. I’m currently stripping all the text off every page of the first five books. Apparently, they would like to see videos of those stories. I’m curious to see what my characters will look like in action. Time spent redrawing old stories is taking time away from the next title. I can show you some of those drawings. But keep them to yourself. We won’t be publishing the next book for a few months.
