There was a little confusion overnight, but our crack PR team cleared it up this morning. Impressive, considering they are in Chicago. I have no clue when they sleep—really good folks.

HERE is the LINK for VIP seating at a reduced rate for HOBIN friends and family: https://syracusetix.com/event/two-wolf/

I want you to come out and party with us. You’ll enjoy Two Wolf. They are rip-roaring, authentic Southern Rock. It should be a great night. We are under the pavilion at the Sharkey’s Event Center. No problem with the weather, they can fully enclose it. We hit at 7:00 PM.

I can help with tickets. If you want to avoid the service fee for tickets, email me. todd@toddhobin.com I’ll leave tickets for you at Will Call the day of the show. I have Venmo and PayPal. Email me about anything. I am better at email than trying to Facebook message… I get too many to deal with.

HERE’S WHY - the old man (uh… me) started the Fall semester this week. I consider myself very lucky to be teaching college at my age. I find my students to be engaged and amazing. The energy they have for music lifts me up every day. This Fall, our film crew will be in Ireland on location. Our next film, An Arrow Shot Through Time, is coming along nicely. Before long, we will be in the studio, back home in CNY, recording the soundtrack. I am writing, and we are recording songs for my next album. Along with re-recording and re-mixing a bunch of songs from my catalog for a “Best Of” album. And yes, we will be taking the band out to play. I love playing for you. And I miss it. One more thing that occupies my time. I am finishing up illustrations on Richard Faith’s next Old Doc Turtle Adventure. Drawing for children has taken on new meaning for me. My 10 grandchildren have given me new insight.

Yeah, I know. I should retire.

Not yet.

More fun to be had.

BTW, that photo up top? That is a recent photo of some past and present members of the Ole Todd Hobin Band. We all showed up last week to listen to one of our favorite bands, Simplelife. Alongside me were Jim Lucas, our drummer back in the 80s (now with Simplelife), Brett Hobin, and Shawn Hobin. Shawn is doing very well. He recovered from a Stroke and is getting ready to come back into the studio to get his chops back. We can’t wait.
