I am home this week, getting ready for a couple of gigs in the 315.

August 1st – The Ridge – An Original night of CNY music details HERE: Friday Night!!

This Friday night, Letizia and I will be singing some songs from the Artist and the Astronaut Soundtrack Album, which will be released worldwide on FireRock Music in the coming weeks. The movie will also be released for streaming in September.

The BAND will be playing a gig a week from tomorrow. A not-so-small private affair, but there is one show I would like you to join us at.

Amidst all the excitement about bringing the band out for a spin again, I have been very busy with our next film. One of my great joys in life is supporting, working with, and creating films with the brilliant director, Bill Muench. His vision for this next documentary is remarkable. It’s a huge project involving many locations across the United States and around Ireland. Our international film crew has already filmed in locations in Mississippi and Mystic Seaport. Ireland in September. We are going to post some photos from these locations, so stay tuned.

A NOTE on Grail, the Rock Opera I’m writing with Bob Christianson and Bruce Coville. We had to push back our recording at Abbey Road in London. Bob is busily tightening up the score in preparation for meeting the London Orchestra and European cast. I’ll keep you posted. The live recording we made with an all-CNY cast was impressive and has been essential. The big surprise was that most of the score is holding up nicely, with a few corrections for pacing. I am always so proud of the talent we have in Upstate New York.

I’m illustrating another Old Doc Turtle children’s book. We’ll post some ruffs for you on this site a little later. Waiting for things to slow down a bit.
