It seems like I always begin these Journal entries with an apology. I am too busy doing things to write about what I am up to. I suppose that at my current age, that's not terrible. All of my projects are amazing in their own way. I wake up early every morning, ready to dive into a new day.
Today is special. It's a family day. This old grandpa is going to celebrate a high school graduation. Connor is remarkable. One of my 10 grandchildren. Soon he'll be off to college. He's playing a piano recital this afternoon, then it's time to celebrate.
Tomorrow I'll be back at it. Here is a list of upcoming events and projects. You will see that I won't be bored this summer.
TRIUMPH OVER STROKE - tomorrow is our annual picnic. We are a support group of stroke survivors and their families. More about Triumph below.
The BAND - we have some shows and studio sessions coming down the pike. Brett and I are looking forward to the gigs and the recordings. This is the band that recorded the songs for the soundtrack album for The Artist and the Astronaut. Letizia and I have started working out our vocal parts already. Steve Orlando, Jr., and Brett will join us soon to work on the repertoire and some new songs. Upcoming BAND shows:

Wideawake Media UPDATE
Our film, The Artist and the Astronaut, will be featured in NYC at the Queens Film Festival. We will also be screening it at Cornell University in the Fall.
OUR NEXT FILM, An Arrow Shot Through Time, will begin shooting next month. I'll be traveling to Mississippi, then Mystic Seaport, and then to Ireland. More on all of this soon. We have a fundraising campaign in progress, and there will be lots of updates from the field. We are very excited about this documentary. https://www.wideawakemedia.org/
