What would you do if you saw a big old tour boat tied up to a dock - ready to set sail? Of course! Hop on board. The Ethan Allen III seats, if I was to guess, about 200 passengers. But this early in the season there were maybe a few dozen hearty souls ready to go for a little sail around Lake Champlain.

We headed straight to the bar on the second deck. A charming waitress from Ukraine served up the morning libations. It was close to noon, so no problem interfering with my morning Guinness. As you can see in these photos we “owned” the boat.

It was a 2-hour cruise around the lake on a beautiful day. We had a blast and strongly recommend the voyage. It departs from the main dock downtown Burlington.
