Omaha March 9, 2023

Omaha from the air.

It’s a little chilly and a lot damp here in Nebraska, but inside the complex theater, things are starting to heat up.

Last night we attended a screening of Hundreds of Beavers. Not what you think. It wasn’t a wildlife documentary. Or if you were thinking something else, not that either. I think what you might call it is cutting-edge mixed media. Live action mixed with animation, black and white, two hours of “humor.” We spent a little time before the screening with the director and the composer—really fun dudes.

The theater complex is impressive. Each of the theaters within the complex are plush. Restaurants within and around the theater are wonderful. My particular favorite The Taphouse… enough said.

Tonight, we are center stage and primetime with our screening of The Artist & the Astronaut. 8:00 PM. There’s already a pretty good buzz about our film. There are 11 documentaries at this festival. The Omaha Film Festival is considered by many in the industry to be one of the better events of the year. And we are here.

Tomorrow, we will make another major announcement. Yup, another festival. We are making noise. Enough to garner the attention of a big-time agent. Hopefully, more to share on that front as well.

For now, we are taking it all in and enjoying the ride. Many thanks for your continued support.
