I am forever stunned at the love thrown my way. Our concert in Tully this past Sunday was one step beyond wonderful. As you know, I am still dealing with some post-stroke issues. But, I am dealing. Of a much bigger concern, I have a very hard time playing songs that Doug and I wrote together.

Brett and I played Brother at the concert. Doug would have been proud. I did have to stop for a minute or two to compose myself. My dear friends in the audience waited patiently. Probably the best audience in the world.

“When the time has come to take my final journey,

I know that he’ll be there to carry me.”

So, onward we go. It’s a very busy week in the studio. We have to finish a book for Full Cast Audio. I am writing the score right now. We are also finishing one last song to replace in the movie. And, of course, getting ready to meet my students next week.

We’ll be on the road this week with our film The Artist and the Astronaut. We have a screening in New England. Here’s a LINK to Info and Tickets: https://artistandtheastronaut.squarespace.com/news/southern-vermont-screening-sponsored-by-green-mountain-academy-of-lifelong-learning

And for our CNY neighbors, we are coming to the MOST on February 3rd for a screening and discussion: https://artistandtheastronaut.squarespace.com/news/new-york-premiere-at-the-most
