It’s quiet at the lake house this morning. A calm before the storm. Literally, it is going to rain on our parade today. Buckets. In a few minutes I will be leaving for Rochester. Today, my fellow bandmates (who are still alive) will be getting together to play. The band, Nomen Non, dates back to the early 1960s. Lifelong friends will meet us at The Creekside Inn in Rush, NY for a get-together we’re calling a Jam. We’ll be stumbling our way through a couple dozen songs we haven’t played in 60 years. Oldies.

Yes, we will be oldies playing oldies. The rain will be an issue as we set up in the pavilion behind the Inn. And yes, the Honeoye Creek is right across the street from the pavilion. Hmmm…. they are calling for flooding in my hometown. We will persevere.

I will be thinking of my current bandmates, Letizia and Mark as they play a fundraiser at our local church back in Liverpool, NY. Mark is taking my place today, so I can head off to Rochester. If you read this and can join either event, please feel free to do so. Free shows.

Last night, we hosted a large family contingent out at the lake. A huge bonfire was surrounded by Hobin and Ridzi clans. A good time was had by all. I look forward to the rest of the week. My Ridzi grandchildren will be here. Lots of activities are planned.

I hope to have time to write and do some catching up with my social media. Sometimes I get so busy doing that I don’t have a chance to write or talk about the many wonderful things going on in my life.

Thinking of all of you, my family, friends, and fans, who make this life so enjoyable.

Thanks to you, I am still doing what I’ve been doing since 1962.

I love you.
