Professor Louie!

Hey, folks. I just want to let you know that one of my favorite pals, Professor Louie will be touring through Upstate NY this coming week. Check out all the dates and other fun stuff on his website: https://thecrowmatix.com/

The Chromatix have always had an amazing line-up of great musicians. This edition will surely be as exciting. In the past, when I have had the pleasure of sitting in, I’ve played with my dear departed friend (and best drummer in the world) Gary Burke. (see below) And some killer guitarists, like John Platania, who shaped the sound for many of Van Morrison’s records. It’s kinda fun to stand next to the guy who invented and played that very first version of Domino, right? Talk about learning from the master. Anyway, it’s a great band. Catch them if you can.

They will be at the 443 Social Club in Syracuse, NY on Friday, August 28th. And Sportsman’s in Buffalo, NY on Saturday, August 29th. These are two of my favorite clubs in Central and Western NY. Great fun to be had in wonderful listening comfort. Then the band will be off to Canada for a quick hit before returning stateside.

Professor Louie will then be at the NYS Fair! My good man and Manager, Tom Honan will be bringing him in for this gig, and will be present that day at the Fair. Tommy Honan is also the man behind the lens, and responsible for the two images you see on this page.
