Pat Musick’s Art

There is a tendency to think of The Artist & the Astronaut as a movie about space. But traveling to space is only half of the story. After returning to Earth Jerry Carr met and married one of America’s most celebrated artists, Pat Musick.

Right now, at the Stamford Science Museum & Nature Center in Stamford, CT Pat’s art is on display as their featured Spring Exhibition. Bill Muench and I were happy to be there with Pat at the art opening and hosted a special screening of the movie about her life The Artist & the Astronaut. It was a glorious night.

At 97 she is still going strong. Still doing her art. Still writing. As you can see from this photo - it captured Bill and I looking on as she presented her talk.… we are in awe of her.
