Film Premiere for Pat Musick

At age 96, Pat Musick is as sharp and intellectually brilliant as she has been her whole life. A life that is chronicled in part in the soon-to-be-released film Artist and the Astronaut. She goes about her work quietly and without fanfare. Her friends and neighbors in the Retirement Village where she lives with her daughters didn’t know about her famous exploits in art or those of her astronaut husband, Jerry Carr.

They do now.

Last week, the folks at Shaker Pointe got a pre-launch screening of her film. And they were more than impressed. Right after the screening they eagerly sounded their approval and asked questions of her and the film’s director, Bill Muench, and composer, Todd Hobin.

Enjoy some photos from the event.
