As many of you may already know, in addition to being a songwriter, performer, and founder of the legendary Todd Hobin Band, Todd is a Professor of Rock. His classes in guitar instruction, studio recording, live sound techniques, and the History of Rock are favorites for his students at Le Moyne College. Friday, November 2nd Todd brings his entertaining and insightful History of Rock lecture to the Fulton, NY Friends of History at the Tavern on the Lock, 24 South First Street, Fulton, NY.

At this event, he will take you through a one-hour journey from the early music of the troubadours through its development in popular music, to the age of “Rock.” Hobin calls it, “The perfect blending of his two passions – music and teaching.” With many examples of classical arias through the American Songbook and Delta Blues, he will demonstrate the music that led up to the Rock revolution.

Friends of History is proud to present this exciting event to you. It’s happening on Friday, November 2 at Tavern on the Lock in Fulton. The festivities begin with a cash bar at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m., then on to the main event when our friend, Todd Hobin, will take you through the amazing voyage of the “History of Rock.”

We invite you to get your holiday season rolling with us.
