I’m on campus today for a faculty meeting. It’s good to be with my colleagues in the Arts. It’s early in the day. The Performing Arts Center is usually quiet in the morning. The hustle and bustle of practice, rehearsal, and performance is a late afternoon, nighttime thing. I did walk by the dance studio. The early morning stretch and limber is already underway.

This Saturday, Brett and I will be doing tech and recording for our Vocal Jazz Workshop. Six area High School Vocal Jazz Ensembles will be coming in for an all-day clinic and joint concert. Susan Moninger is coming in to do her magic. She’s bigtime. Look her up.

Our band will be meeting for some rehearsals this week. We’re playing one of our favorite halls on January 24th. The Steeple Coffee House. Here’s a link for the details:
