Election Day 2025
It occurs to me, this fine morning as we head out to vote, “not voting is not a NO vote, it’s a nothing.”
If you feel like you’re not being properly served, vote for whoever is not currently in office. That sends a message. Better still, maybe we should all write in “none of the above.”
Politicians will act in the best interests of those they represent. Do they represent the people in their district or the people who donate the most money to their campaign to get elected? The only way to break the spell of a ton of cash is to make the office holder realize that the people can terminate their time at the trough.
It’s inconvenient. But voting for a politician who works hard for you and is accountable, approachable, affable, and responsible is important. If you think you’re not being served properly, don’t give up. Vote for a change. It’s all part of keeping a politician honest.
Imagine that! An honest politician. Yeah, I know, it’s hard to imagine. But, we the people, have the power to make it happen. Don’t throw your vote away.
