Pastor Doug Brushell is Home!

Marie, the Pastor's wife has been keeping me well informed.  Doug is home and recovering from surgery.  He continues to improve.  Our hope is that he will return to pastoring his flock before too long.  I want to personally thank you all for joining in a prayer chain.  Your prayers were heard and answered.  And a special thank you to Karen Watson for knitting a beautiful prayer shawl for the Pastor....





My Journal is WAY behind... here's...

I write in my Journal most days.  I like to put some of it online for my family and my friends.  The real personal stuff sits in books on a shelf in my office. (See below.)  Journaling is a must for a writer.  It helps to keep the creative juices flowing.  And it keeps you honest.  When you publish a thought, it makes it real.  When you write about something, it also gets locked in time.  You can go back...

Pastor Doug Brushell is my friend and pastor.   Many of you remember that Doug was the Todd Hobin Band Road Manager back in the day.  It was during that time on the road that he heard, and answered the call to be a minister.  As you know, I believe in prayer.  Ten years ago I was co-pilot on a flight that carried Pastor Brushell and his wife into Pittsburgh in an ice storm to receive a lung transplant.  God answer...





My Recent Travel Schedule

I've learned to never complain about being too busy. It's a blessing.

My many blessings have kept me just a tad too swamped to communicate lately.  And my travel schedule, in-out-and-around the Country, will make it a little tough to post to my Journal until later this month.  I'll catch up.  Here, in brief, are some notes on what has been and what is yet to come:
