A quick rundown of what's going on...

Baldwinsville, NY (A page from Todd's journal)

I finally got a few minutes at my desk in my little studio above Studio B to catch up a bit. I can't possibly answer all of the emails and messages I've received over the last few weeks, but I owe it to you to answer some of the questions here. I apologize for this less than personal approach to correspondence. But, as you will see, I kinda overpacked my schedule.

We DID get some fun time. I don't want you to think that I'm a cromudgen. Joann and I spent a bunch of glorious days and nights on Block Island. You can read about it here in my Journal.

But most importantly, I have to thank you all for your support. Doug and I were part of a very special celebration of life for our friend and Pastor Doug Brushell. I have to believe that even though he is gone, his work will carry on. There will be more songs to be sung, and an congregation to be ministered to, along with all of his other good works. You know, God is building himself a nice little band up there. Glory will be filled with a joyous sound.

Sadly, we just learned of the passing of another great friend. Many of you know that our relationship with Orleans goes back pretty much a lifetime. Suddenly, and without warning their gifted lead vocalist Larry Hoppen, was taken from us on Tuesday. Details will be forthcoming I'm sure, but details don't matter. Larry was special. Read more HERE.

The album is on its way. We have pretty much finished all the tracks. Doug, our mighty Producer is finishing up the mixes. We've got some vocals to record. Then the artwork and packaging. Before you know it, we'll be in the stores. I'll keep you posted.

Two important dates to report: Saturday, September 15th we will be playing the world famous Cream Cheese Festival in Lowville, NY. Here's a link to the Cream Cheese Festival websight, and a link to my Calendar for details. And then PLEASE make your reservations for Saturday, September 29th at the Turning Stone Casino!! This will be an incredible event with lots of special guests. Here's a link to get you to our ANNOUNCEMENT and a link to the Box Office at the Showroom at the Turning Stone.

Bruce Coville's new novel Always October is in production with a full cast at the studio. It is one of his best stories to date. It's funny, scary, enthralling, enchanting, gross, sweet, and everything you'd expect from the master storyteller. He is directing. I'm working on the score. It should be ready in time to simultaneously release the audio book with the print book this Fall. Very exciting.

Tim Green just left for Ireland. But not before he recorded his next book with us. This novel is powerful stuff. It's called Unstoppable. It's story is right in his wheelhouse, sports. And in this case it deals with something very close to him and his family. I can't wait for you to hear it. We're producing it for Audio Go. My relationship with them goes back to the days of working with Brian Jacques in Liverpool, England with the BBC. Bruce Coville directed.

As many of you know, much of my time has been taken up with a movie being filmed by Media Artists. I'll post some notes from the studio and from some of our locations. But for now, I'm just hanging on for dear life.

So much more... I'll be in touch.
