Todd Asks for Prayer

Pastor Doug Brushell is now in glory.

Pastor Doug Brushell has carried the Cross faithfully. For over a decade the weight of that Cross has been a mighty burden. Through transplant and recovery, and operations numerous and painful he was never one to complain. He carried the Cross for Jesus. And now, Jesus is preparing to carry him... home.

I sang to Doug last night. Keepin' the Dream Alive. Next to his hospital bed, surrounded by his family. We all sang. My dear friend Mike Curly led us in song too. Gently, peacefully, we prayed.

I ask now, for your prayers. Pastor Doug is on his final journey. His Earthly burdens will be lifted. Pray for his soul to be released. And know that God will have a powerful ally joining his minions.

Doug Brushell, early on a manager for the band, a lifelong member of the family, and our Pastor is on his way home. He died today.
