I am Sorry...

POSTED: Wednesday, January 18, 2012, 9:41 AM

Todd Hobin is back in the studio.

Uh.... I'm still alive.  And very sorry.  I've been getting a lot of emails lately... asking if I am o.k.  I am perfect.  Couldn't be better.  Just a whole lotta busy lately.  As a result, I haven't been able to keep up with my correspondence or web page updates.  I suppose I should start doing the facebook thing.  We'll see.  You can always check out the band's facebook page.  The guys in the band are much better at keeping things up to date.  Here's a link: Todd Hobin Band Facebook Page

A short recap:

The Monirae's gig was breathtaking.  Many thanks to family, friends and fans.  The new songs were well received.  More to come.

The Fall semester at Le Moyne finished with a flurry, with lots of great moments, wonderful papers from students... and a long good-bye.  I hea   ded back to the studio full-time.  I am in serious catchup mode.

The studio is crazed:

* The Todd Hobin Band's long awaited album is in its final stages.  Bruce is coming in this weekend to lay down a bunch of rippin' guitar parts.

* We're putting the finishing touches on the last of three (3) Heinlein titles.  Space Cadet will ship this month.  This will be our eighth Heinlein title:  Robert A. Heinlein at Full Cast Audio

* Yesterday, we recorded the last of the WILD lines for Tim Green's Football Genius.  This book was recorded around one of the biggest football stories of the year in Upstate New York.  The book's real stars were dealing with a serious trauma surrounding a march toward the state championship game.  I know you're going to enjoy this audio book.  The real life saga of the Green family will no doubt continue to be exciting, too.  They are amazing folks, talented in so many ways.  It is always a pleasure to have them in the studio.  More to follow on both stories.

* An episode of Happy Endings aired last week on ABC-TV featuring our work.  We've worked with ABC before in long distance ADR sessions.  (We dub in dialog from our studio here in Baldwinsville utilizing a realtime hook up with the studio in LA.)  What made this fun was having Tom Kenny here.  I'll try to post some of his work for you a little later.  He is a talented genius.  The voice of SpongeBob SquarePants did some amazing work as a racist parrot, ranting to his new owner Elisha Cuthbert.  Hilarious stuff.

* I'm finishing up the recordings for my Wellness Suite.  It will be installed in Crouse Hospital, with a CD to follow... more on that later.

* Lots of new songs, and projects are on the way.  I'll catch up a bit and post some new stuff for you.

My thanks to all of you.  Everyday is a wonder.  God Bless, and please accept my humble apologies.  I'll try to do a little better in keeping you informed.  Have your friends write to me to be put on our mailing list.  Info, free stuff, and  discounts on everything  here: contact page
