After NINE concerts in the first two weeks of July I’m taking a little breather. I woke up this morning looking at the ocean, a couple of grandchildren, some awesome kids, and a beautiful wife. I’ve been doing this Rocker thing for a long time, and have somehow survived. I still love every minute of this life. No reason to stop just yet. As a matter of fact, I can’t wait to pick up my guitar this morning. I have a song burning threw the ends of my fingers.
Looking back over the first half of the summer of 2017 I have a boatload of memories seared into my skull. I’ll never be able to thank personally all of the friends and fans who came out to share a few precious minutes of their lives with me. Lots of reconnects… after a lifetime apart. Many remarkable people who have made this artist’s life possible continue to fill my life with hope and joy. To say that I’m thankful is a serious understatement. You make my life possible. I’ll never be a rich man, but I live rich. Rich in friendships, I enjoy a wealth of memories every day.
I can never thank you enough.
During this short time of reflection, rest, and yes… recuperation, I hope to reach out to some of you to personally thank you for being so supportive of this adventure. You all mean the world to me.
