Many thanks to those of you who joined us for our Rockin’ Christmas party at Sharkey’s Saturday night. We raised the roof, raised some money for Hope For Heather, and raised awareness about Ovarian Cancer. The Christmas CD “The Gift of Song” was on sale that night, with proceeds going to the cause.
Many wonderful people to thank beginning with my band and crew:
Doug Moncrief, Bruce Fowler, Brett Hobin, and sitting in for his dad, Scott Hobin.
Jeff Sawyer joined us on keyboards and did a sweet set of Christmas Classics to get the party started. Joe Whiting finished off the night with us, singing and playing his horn. Bill Mott was in attendance as well. His song “There’s a Christmas Coming” is featured on our Christmas CD.
Corey Hobin worked extra hard to make sure we had great sound and lights. Our crew for the evening: Steve Kneiser, Richard Bentley, Austin Saunders, Chris Burnett provided outstanding support. Special thanks to our Merch team leader June Bentley, and to Frieda and Gary Weeks (Hope for Heather). Artist Event Management under the Direction of John Pettigrass provided advertising and public relations support and handled all the details of the event. Their onsite team included Tami and Gavin. Remarkable setup and execution of the event room at Sharkey’s by Jim Nichols and his staff.
