Although I’m not going to be out on the road for a while…. at least until Spring… I don’t want you to think that I’m not keeping myself busy. The Spring semester started this week. I have a new crop of Communication students in my on-campus studio. They appear to be a remarkable bunch of energetic soon-to-be professionals. Actually, some of them are already spreading their wings in the biz. I’ve had the pleasure of working side by side with a few. Trust me, the future is in good hands.
I am looking forward to this weekend. I’ll be working with Jeremy Stolle. He’s a hardworking Broadway actor and a great singer too. Jeremy was actually in the first Broadway cast of Phantom of the Opera. He hasn’t let up since then. He’s got a new album out. It should be a great show. Sorry to say, it’s already sold out.
My Sinatra Show in Oneida, NY was a blast. The folks couldn’t have been more welcoming. Many thanks to our crew, the staff at the Owl, and of course, to Val Peters for writing this wonderful remembrance of Frank Sinatra. Sitting at the piano and playing these songs is always a thrill.
In a couple of weeks I’ll be presenting my “History of Rock” concert at Bellevue Country Club. It’s a member event, but hang tight folks, I’ll be planning some public shows soon.
I will be having more news hit this space in about a month: Summer shows with the THB, a new website, new music…. Yeah, I know… I should be slowing down.
Not a chance.
See you soon,
