Todd Hobin is still rocking! He performs with the Original Todd Hobin Band, as a solo artist, and with songwriting partner Doug Moncrief. As a member of the Full Cast Audio (www.fullcastaudio.com) creative team, he writes all the soundtracks for their audio books. Credits include scores for “King Kong” and Shannon Hale’s “Goose Girl”. He recently directed and wrote the music for “Fairest”, a novel by Gail Carson Levine, author of Ella Enchanted, of which Publishers Weekly said, "This is a rare case: the book itself is superb, but the audio production surpasses it." He is a teaching professional with the Recording Connection (Los Angeles) and writes, produces and directs TV and Radio Commercials at Hobin Studios in Syracuse, New York. He continues an active role as Producer for artists in all musical genres from Rock to Country, and writes songs for, and with, a wide variety of artists. He was the Musical Director and lead songwriter on the acclaimed, nationally syndicated children’s television series “Pappyland”. In addition to post-scoring films and videos, writing credits include jingles for clients as diverse as Coca Cola, Hershey Park, and Goldberg’s Furniture. The legendary Todd Hobin Band, with five albums to their credit and tours with the Beach Boys, Kinks and Allman Brothers to name a few, still enjoys album sales here and in Europe. The band is in the studio recording their sixth album. Todd and his wife, Joann, call Upstate New York home. All six children are grown, and they recently celebrated the birth of Todd's first grandchild.
